As a Finishing Production Supervisor - 2nd shift, you will be the first line leader to support team members within your area/zone, ensuring safe and efficient daily production operations.
Position Responsibilities
These responsibilities ensure that safety is prioritized and embedded into the workplace culture.
Primary Duties
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
- Stay current with safety standards and regulatory changes.
- Enforce safety procedures according to company policies.
- Ensure proper PPE usage for all employees.
- Promote ergonomic practices to reduce injury risk.
- Create an environment of continuous improvement.
- Encourage all team members to contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Treat all team members with respect and professionalism.
- Reduce waste and develop team skills to support lean operations.
- Ensure employees receive proper training in safety, quality, equipment operation and 6S.
- Collaborate with technical staff for operational support.
- Set and achieve annual performance goals.
- Continuously improve processes and reduce inventory levels.
- Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with Union Stewards regarding contract and discipline topics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Knowledge / Experience / Education
- Servant leadership experience required.
- 1–3 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing preferred.
- Manufacturing supervision experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations preferred.
- Internship or co-op experience may be considered.

- Conduct regular safety audits and address issues promptly.

Must Have
