Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys to assess data integration readiness and propose integration approaches to connect machines with Ignition.
- Architect Ignition solutions using the necessary Ignition modules (including authorized third-party modules) for manufacturing environments.
- Design control/SCADA systems including databases, interfaces, data analytics and reporting, and scripting (VB, Python).
- Interact with clients for requirements analysis, enhancements, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with offshore engineering teams and lead project delivery.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Ignition Gold Certification.
- Hands-on experience architecting and designing control/SCADA systems with databases, interfaces, tag providers, Ignition Edge/Enterprise, and foundational drivers.
- Python scripting expertise for Ignition.
- Knowledge of plant and machine KPIs and visualization in Ignition.
- Clear understanding of various Ignition architectures to recommend the right-fit solution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with multiple PLC and IT/OT integration technologies.
- Experience in PLC integration and design.
