We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to lead and optimize billing, revenue management, and related financial processes for our US market operations. This role requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, billing and subscription billing, and collaboration with senior finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own the billing function, including billing cycles, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
- Collaborate with CFO and senior finance stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Implement and optimize subscription billing, billing/revenue workflows, and related controls within D365 F&O Finance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with contractual and service delivery obligations.
- Support month-end close, AR processes, and financial data integrity.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience; mid-senior level.
- Strong exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance.
- Billing and revenue management experience, including subscription billing.
- Experience working closely with CFO/senior finance stakeholders.
- Understanding of invoicing and AR processes.
- Familiarity with accounting standards (AASB15 ASC606) and applying them to service contracts with time components and performance obligations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to own and lead the billing function.
- US market experience.
