We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join an on-site manufacturing operation located in Ripon, Wisconsin. This mid-senior role requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to collaborate with a team to ensure reliable production. Total openings: 1. Standard shift is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and service motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.
- Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime.
- Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment.
Qualifications
- Preferred two-year Associate degree and 5+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency with computers to search for parts and enter data into a CMMS.
